At the beginning of July, the Temporary Cultural Space "Module of Temporality" (MOT), which has been visited by almost 40,000 visitors, will be presented to the citizens of Lutsk.
The project was organized by the Kyiv-based team Don't Take Fake, and the travel and work of the space in Lutsk is being implemented with the support of the "Algorithm of Actions" NGO.
The MOT is a two-story building made up of 27 container-modules with an exhibition of works by international and Ukrainian artists. It will also host a series of film screenings and lectures. The goal of the project is to draw even more attention to Ukraine and raise funds to restore cultural institutions affected by Russian aggression.
How to get in?
The MOT will be opened in July and will work seven days a week throughout the month: from 13:00 to 20:00 on weekdays and from 11:00 to 20:00 on weekends.
Entrance is on a first-come, first-served basis. The recommended ticket price is 150 hryvnias. However, all visitors can choose to pay more or less if they wish.
The entrance to special events that will start on certain days after the exhibition closes will be by paid tickets only, available on the MOT website.
The location can operate autonomously in case of prolonged power outages. The space will be closed during air alerts.
The funds raised from ticket sales, as well as all the profit from the gift shop, and the money from the auction will be a separate fund. They will be fully transferred to the restoration of Ukrainian art institutions, monuments and museums.
This way, everyone who buys a ticket, anything in the gift shop, or participates in the auction will automatically join the fund and help restore culture.
The number of projects that the team will be able to support will depend on the final amount raised and the urgent needs of the institutions at the time of the fundraising. The team will form a list of institutions and organizations together with cultural experts, and all expenses will be reported on the project's social media.
